Free · The Day Reset · 5 minutesYou commented RESET. Here it is.
When the day stops going to plan, start here.
A five-minute framework and a template for clearing your head and re-planning the rest of your day, after a call runs over or a client changes the brief.
What you get
Four things, all on one page.
- The five-step checklist, on one page you can print or save as a PDF.
- A plain-text template you can paste into Notion, Apple Notes or any doc.
- A prompt for Claude or another AI assistant, for a first draft of the new plan.
- Three short messages, ready to send, for moving a meeting, shortening a task or asking for more time.
The five steps
Empty it, sort it, then fit it around what doesn’t move.
- 01
Empty your head onto one list.
Write what just changed at the top, then everything else you’re holding underneath: tasks, replies you owe, things you’re worried you’ll forget. Don’t sort it yet.
- 02
Mark the two things that don’t move.
One routine you’re keeping today, like the gym or a school pickup, and the time you stop work.
- 03
Sort what’s left into three piles.
Has to happen today, can move, and isn’t mine to do.
- 04
Fit the “today” pile around the fixed points.
Shorten or move everything else. Leave fifteen minutes of slack before your hard stop.
- 05
Tell the people affected.
One short message each. The kit has three ready to send.
ADHD-friendly by design: one list, one next action, nothing to keep up. Not medical advice.

Is this ADHD advice?
No. It’s a planning framework I use on busy days. It’s designed to be ADHD-friendly, but it isn’t medical advice or a treatment.
